Miscellaneous Notes

At the original reunion, one of the cousin spouses (Ross Mast) felt somewhat out of place amongst the "cousins family feeling". As a result, he devised the following humorous nomenclature as a friendly rebuttal. This nomenclature was happily accepted by all attendees and has been used ever since.

Cousins (C) - The nine descendents of Frances, John, Mary, and Ann Hren. These are Ronald, Joseph,, Lloyd, John, Beverly, Susan, Nancy, and Raymond

Cousins (C1) - Parents of cousins

Cousins (C2) - Children of cousins, i.e., second cousins. (Note: Typically prefer to be known as "un-cousins")

Cousins (CN) - "Un-cousins" or anyone not categorized who is, or has been known to live with, hang out with, or otherwise be known to closely associate themselves with a cousin on a regular basis. Also known as "nons" (non-cousins). This includes "cousins of cousins".

Cousins (CEX) - Anyone formerly married to, lived with, or been known to hang out with, or otherwise be known to be closely associated with a cousin on a regular basis and who has fallen from favor and has been banned from all family functions.

At the Pueblo '05 reunion, with the very creative help of several family members, one of the more infamous "uncousins" (who shall remain anonymous) created a list of "Top 10 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Miss the Next Cousin's Reunion". This list was so memorable, it is documented below:
